The Member organizations collaborate to create a streamlined pathway for job seekers, connecting them to the best opportunities and member organizations. This "no-wrong-door" approach improves coaching, skills training, and support services like child care, digital literacy, mental health, and housing, all aimed at securing jobs with family-sustaining wages.
The Central Ohio Workforce Development Network partners with local employers, economic development groups, labor organizations, and industry partnerships to meet current hiring needs. This systems-based approach enhances talent pipeline management, increasing efficiency, access, and retention for employers.
Embarking on our inaugural year, the Central Ohio Workforce Development Network members have identified essential activities necessary for our long-term success. Members all agree that building a true workforce development system with no wrong door of entry is needed to allow us to meet the needs of our diverse community of job seekers and employers.
